⁵ All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates and bars, in addition to a great many unwalled towns. ⁶ We utterly destroyed them, just as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every city—men, women and children. ⁷ But all the livestock and the spoils of the cities we took as plunder for ourselves.
